Welcome to Bethany Baptist Church

Bethany Independent Baptist Church was formed from an amalgamation of 2 local churches; Calvary Baptist in Maces Bay and Bethel Baptist in Little Lepreau. Under the direction of Pastor Bernard Toner a new building was constructed on a new site in Little Lepreau and services began on April 2, 1989. In the years since, the church has sought to faithfully proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the surrounding community and the world through preaching, missionary support, evangelistic meetings, kids clubs, youth groups, banquets, retreats and an annual VBS.

The men who have led the church as pastors through these years are as follows: Dana Archer (’90-’91), Daniel Burrill (’91-94′), Shane Belding (’94-97′), Ben Warner (’97-2010), Joel Eastwood (2010-2016), Philip Crossman (2017-2019), Dennis Sealy (2019-2021), and Greg Little (2022-present).

We look forward to what God will do through us as we remain faithful to Him.
